Two well-known faces in hospitality and business are joining forces to open a new restaurant in Arrowtown.
Top Auckland chef Ben Bayly is taking his love for Italian food to Central Otago with a new restaurant Aosta, named after a small Italian town the chef holds close to his heart.
Twice named NZ chef of the year during his nine year tenure as executive chef at The Grove, Bayly has partnered with businessman, jeweller, philanthropist and Arrowtown local Michael Hill on the new venture.
The intimate 45-seater interior is being designed by award-winning local architect Anna-Marie Chin.
