Foodies, restaurant buffs and music fans will flock to Auckland's waterfront next week for what's gearing up to be an extra special Taste of Auckland.
The country's biggest celebration of food and drink, this year's tenth annual Taste kicks off next Thursday 1 November with a new seaside venue and a host of other firsts including a sustainable seafood theme, dedicated vegan and dessert eateries and some of the country's top music acts on the bill.

Gusto at the Grand executive chef Sean Connolly and guest chef Sardinian-born Giovanni Pilu are hosting guests for an Italian feast at Auckland's SKYCITY. Executive chef and owner of Sydney's Pilu on Freshwater, Pilu and Connolly are good friends and have worked together multiple times, but for this, his first New Zealand event, they're taking inspiration from Pilu's homeland.
This year’s Taste of Auckland in partnership with Electrolux just keeps getting better with a host of big names in the food world newly added to the line-up including Nick Honeyman from Paris Butter, Simon Gault and Giraffe, Nic Watt of True Food & Yoga and The Tasting Shed’s Ganesh Raj.
Bringing the total tally to ten, four new restaurants join the already exceptional lineup of Baduzzi, Euro, Tok Tok, Saan, The Vodka Room and Miss Moonshines who will serve up their signature dishes at the festival.
