Moving with the times, local fashion favourite Max is undergoing a significant transformation at the hands of new owners Barkers menswear.
Starting this week, customers will see whole new ranges hit stores including a fully revamped main line, a Liberty Fabrics collab, resort and the first drop of Elementary, featuring relaxed timeliness silhouettes in organic cotton, linen and other natural materials.
A shift to a more responsible business model like that of parent company Barkers sees a move away from synthetic fabrics and a great emphasis on quality.
A new multi-brand, large scale boutique shopping experience also sees the introduction of lifestyle products from local artisans including handmade jewellery by Jasmin Sparrow and Love Winter, ceramics by Claybird Ceramics, organic beauty products by Country Kitchen and loose leaf teas by Storm and India.
International brands such as Levi's, Clae shoes and James Smith footwear also share shelf space.
